We provide a free CPD service for the legal profession. Our aim is to make it quick and easy for lawyers to find Legal CPD courses to meet their needs. We collect the course information from over 75 legal training providers so that you can easily find and compare what is available.

Source the Course launched in January 2006.  Our business provides outsourced training management to help lawyers to ensure that they are getting the most from their CPD.  When we set up the business we offered to source legal training for our clients – which sounded straight forward enough until we tried to find and compare the available legal training courses and providers.

It was really time consuming and very difficult to be sure that we had found all the available alternatives.

The site is our answer to the problem we faced.  Not only does it help lawyers to find legal training - it also helps legal training providers to make sure lawyers know about what they offer.  We would like it to become a comprehensive list with as wide a choice as possible - so that any lawyer from any practice area can find useful legal training options to meet their needs.

We’ve got a really good base of training providers listing on the site - over 90 providers and over 6500 courses.  However we want to encourage more training providers to list their courses.  There are hundreds more out there and we want to know what training they provide and where they provide it so we - and you - can find it easily.

If you want to see more training providers please tell your colleagues about the site - in fact tell everyone you know.  The more the site is used - the more training providers will want to list their courses - the more useful the site will become.

If you find the site so useful that you locate a course you want to attend - please, please use our Booking Request form.  It’s easy to complete and simply sends an email to the training provider asking them to contact you and process your booking.  The benefit to us is that it gives the training provider a clear message that lawyers are finding out about their courses by using Source the Course.  This means that they will keep listing their courses and you will be able to find them next time you are looking.
